Law Day 2026

Human rights and peace : for present and future generations

This conference will bring together experts to explore contemporary challenges to human rights and reflect on everyone’s role in defending fundamental freedoms and peace.

The discussion will feature representatives from the Nobel Peace Center, the René Cassin Foundation, and the Peace Research Institute of Oslo (PRIO), followed by a presentation of UNESCO Procedure 104, a human rights protection mechanism that remains relatively little known.
