On Wednesday 4 November, the Trondheim Jazz Orchestra will be performing at the Nobel Peace Centre with Vi er?, a project that explores what it means to come together – and what might be the opposite of loneliness.

Vi er? is a process-based orchestral project in which the musicians allow themselves to be influenced by one another, their surroundings and the venue where they are performing. The music emerges from the interplay between composed structures and improvisation, with listening as a central part of the artistic method.

At the Nobel Peace Centre, Vi er? will be performed within the Paths to Peace exhibition, and the concert will also become an encounter between the music, the exhibition and the space in which it is performed.
