Historical Peace Prize laureates: Andrej Sakharov

This year marks fifty years since Andrei Sakharov was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. This means that the archive containing information about the award given to the Soviet scientist and activist can now be opened. What it holds, and why Sakharov’s prize remains so relevant today – find out on Kveldsåpent on Wednesday, March 19.

Time: 19 March 2025 18:00 - 19:00 CET

Location: Nobels Fredssenter

Every Wednesday, the Nobel Peace Center is open until 20:00, with half-price admission from 17:00. And every week, something exciting happens; topical discussions, lectures, film screenings, and themed tours. The events and tours of the exhibitions are included in the ticket, so if you visit us on Wednesday evening, you get extra value for your admission fee. The ticket will give you entry to the exhibitions this evening.

The event will be held in Norwegian and will be available as a podcast afterward.
